Social media are an invaluable part of many people’s lives. Staying in touch with friends, meeting new people and sharing what’s on their mind; it’s all happening on online platforms.
Yet on many social media, the contents are determined by the makers, the social media companies. They decide which of your friends’ posts you see, and which commercials appear on your screen. They collect your data and use it for their own purposes. This calls for an improvement. It’s time for a platform where the users are in charge.
We proudly introduce the AIOW app. A platform that’s all about creating and sharing content. We don’t interfere with our users: you are in full control of your profile and data. AIOW makes social media fun again!
Within our social network, the users have complete freedom to express themselves. You can post what you want to post, without any interference from us as a platform (except if your content is against the law, obviously).
Decide what you like to see
Is a certain type of content not your cup of tea? You can always block users and tags from your timeline, to stop them from showing up on your screen. This way, we prevent so-called ‘toxic’ accounts and subjects, and keep the platform fun for everybody.
At AIOW it’s all about creating and sharing content. Therefore, you can earn badges, virtual medals of honour for your activities. There are, for instance, badges for liking many posts, making donations and generating a large following. These badges provide access to special discounts and personalized offers.
Get special offers
On our platform, you will find special offers from varying companies. These will be shown on the map, so you can easily use them. Don’t worry: the offers are separated from the social content, so they won’t bother you when your scrolling.
As a user, you have full control over your own profile, content and data. You can thus change or delete your information from our servers at all times.
